My experience

Experiencing my parents’ and father-in-law’s successes and failures in managing their life’s work inspired a deep dive into estate plan organization. While researching the topic, I learned quickly that everyone has a story of how the poor organization of an estate caused confusion, anxiety, and anger among siblings and other loved ones. If Before I Croak helps even one individual or family avoid a similar experience, then the effort was worth it.

My personal Before I Croak 3-ring binder has a 3-inch spine and 13 sections. I review and update it annually.

I am an avid reader, a student of great communicators, and a world traveler. Richard Russo, Nancy Duarte, and gems like the Galapagos Islands are among my favorites.

When not helping clients, writing, or crossing items off my bucket list, I love spending time with my wife and kids, hiking in the White Mountains, sitting on a beach in Cape Cod, or parked on the sofa.
